Compatible Garmin GPS models
Our Garmin format maps on memory card are compatible with nearly all Garmin GPS receivers that have an SD or microSD memory card slot, including:
- nüvi® (all models except 200/205/3760/3790), Colorado (all models), Oregon (all models), Montana (all models), Dakota 20
- GPSmap® 62s/62st/62stc, GPSmap 60Cx/60CSx, GPSmap 78/78s/78sc, GPSmap 76Cx/76CSx
- eTrex® 20/30, Vista Cx/HCx, eTrex Legend Cx/HCx, eTrex Venture Cx
- Rino® 650/655t/520HCx/530HCx, Edge 605/705/800, and zūmo® (all models).
Our SledGPS maps are also available on CD-ROM with Garmin's MapSource PC software. As well as the above list, the CD version is also compatible with mapping models that do not have a memory card slot and have at least 24MB of internal memory, including: Dakota 10, GPSmap® 62, GPSmap 60C/60CS, GPSmap 76C/76CS, eTrex® Vista, Vista C, Legend C/H, Venture HC, and Rino® 610/520/530 (SledGPS's California data with streets requires 32MB and will not fit on some of these models).
If you are looking for a new GPS for your ride we particularly recommend the motorcycle-oriented zūmo series, the ruggedized 500/550 nüvi models, the large touchscreen Oregon series, or the inexpensive eTrex Legend HCx.
You sent me the wrong sized memory card!
We ship our memory card packages as a microSD card with a larger SD adapter sleeve, usually with the
microSD inside the adapter to protect it during shipping. Slide out the microSD card from the end of the
adapter if your GPS uses the smaller card.

I don't have a GPS—which one should I get?
See the article Choosing a GPS for your Snowmobile.
Should I get the memory card version or the CD-ROM version?
Most people will get the memory card. It's plug'n'play: just put it into your GPS and go. Per the
above, you will need to get the CD-ROM version if your Garmin GPS does not have an SD or microSD slot.
You may prefer the CD-ROM if you want to view the maps on the big screen of your PC using the
included Garmin MapSource software. You may also prefer it if you already own other MapSource maps
and want to create "combined" maps of multiple types to download to your GPS.
Note that the CD requires a Windows PC and also an Internet connection the first time you use
it (so that you can unlock the maps for your GPS).
Garmin have now documented a
procedure
for using our MapSource CD-ROM data on an Apple Mac, but please note that we have not independently verified these instructions.
How detailed and up to date are the trails?
US TrailMaps
works with clubs at local, county and state levels to ensure that its
trail data is comprehensive and up to date. The previews on this website
(Wisconsin for example)
contain the same trail data as the GPS maps themselves, so you can see what you're going to get.
How quickly will my order ship?
Orders usually ship within 1 business day from our Arizona distribution center.
At unusually busy times, such as the holidays, orders may take an extra
business day to ship, and very occasionally there may be a delay while we
restock on a popular item. Your credit card will only be charged when your
order is shipped.
What is your return policy?
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase, and you can return your SledGPS map set
for any reason. You'll get 100% of the price of the maps back!
We regret that we cannot refund any expedited (Fedex) shipping charges that you may have opted for.
If you bought a GPS and/or accessories from us then that postion of your order may be subject to a restocking fee.

terms applying to GPS and accessory sales.
Aren't GPSes difficult to use?
Garmin has done a phenomenal job in making all of their GPSes easy to use
and supplying excellent "quick start" guides with them. Usually you just
need to charge them up (or put in batteries), skim through the quick start
guide, and you'll be able to use all the major features of the GPS.
Certainly these GPSes are rich in capabilities, and some of the more
complicated features will take a little reading of the manual and
learning the unit's screens and button, but for the main job for
which you bought it, you'll be out of the door in no time.
